:D I saw those today, that's really great. I sure hope LH can knock
off #1. It will be a fantastic game. I'll be pulling for LH. I certainly hope no one on either team has injuries.

BTW, who and where will you be playing in 3 weeks?

Wow, talk about opposites.

Oct 1, play the "unofficial" #1 in all classes - that scary opponent, BYE, who has knocked many great teams to the ground. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0304/traurig/sad-smiley-032.gif I shiver to think about it, but I'm confident we can prevail, where so many teams before us have failed. ;)

Oct 8, we play Brady, there. (Closer to you than us. :D )

BTW, there were no Interceptions or Fumble Recoveries listed for either team. 2 of our 3 backs have more yards rushing than the top 4A (15 teams) & 5A (17 teams) rushers. (And, yes, I realize that we do not generally pass, which makes a difference...)

At Brady, their stadium freaks me out... the track going BEHIND the visitor's side... whoa...

Back in the day, I absolutely hated running on a track like that. That bear would jump on my back every time.

What bear?

It's a joke. :D Like I said, it was back in the day. It seems that any time we had to run at a track that went behind the visitors' stands, when folks would come out from behind, the runners would be in completely different place order - and many of these races were not neck & neck when the runners went behind the stands. The tale was that a bear had jumped on whomever's back that may have been in first going in but was now in last.

Okay, that's what I was thinking, thank you...

8 go behind, 3 run out heh...

Have you ever seen Mason's stadium? The Puncher Dome?

That thing is wicked, man...

Yah, what are the seats behind the endzone for? The drinking crowd?

And there's an old rusty license plate on the fence, deer poop all over the place, still burn the lines on the field instead of chalkin' 'em, like stepping back in time...

I don't have a clue what they're for - maybe reserved for the golfers when they get off the course? ;)

As a spectator, there are certainly worse stadiums. I'm not sure if they still use it or not, but I have to say that the worst field my oldest had to play on at Llano when he was in junior high was the absolute pits - basically the stands were made of dirt.

I played there too, lol. We were mad about it, because at the time Llano High had one of the nicest stadiums around.:)
