I need to know if this can be done. Can I take A Windows Media file that is played with Windows Media Player and convert it to an AVI or anything else that I can burn onto a DVD....

but dont i need to convert it into an AVI before I can burn it?

u can download programs to convert windows media files in to AVIs from www.download.com... but it takes alot of time.. and i'm not sure if it would help u.. but thats how u can convert them

Okay...that raises another question from me!

Can you convert WAV files to MP3 and burn on a CD?

that i can answer with the same thing.. go to www.download.com and they have programs that will convert them in to mp3s and then yes u can burn them

there has to be a free one somewhere...on download.com they are all like $30 or something
