How can they lose two games and still make top 5 in the polls. Who were the guys playing?

The other loss to Jasper #2-3A in state.

The win was against a very strong 4A Nederland team.

Look for the losing trend to change. Although the rest of preseason isn't a walk in the park, the next two games are against 4A Beaumont Central & 2A Newton. Either one could beat the Stangs, but my money is on them to win both. After that preseason gauntlet, WO-S should be primed for district if they aren't all hobbled .....

WOS lost to consensus 4A Number 1 Bay City 17-0 and lost 25-23 to my 3A number 1 Jasper...and they beat a Nederland team that is Top 15 in most 4A polls....

why laugh? if you take in chaingang's train of thought into consideration, since BH beat anahuac by 38, and anahuac beat newton, and since WO-S is going to "roll over" BH, then it makes sense.

I'm shocked WO-S dropped that low. Like other posters have commented, if healthy through non-district, the Stangs should
go undefeated in district.

Anything came happen in playoffs, so I'm not crowning the Stangs just yet.

You got to love chaingang. But if you follow is line of thinking BH beat vidor 35-19 and WOS beat VIdor 17-14 last year. So what does that mean :thinking: Oh I know, Vidor had a better team last year they would beat Vidor by 60 this year:D
