Midland Christian vs. Monahans

Heard on the news this might be the game of the week. Exactly how good is Midland Christian? I know Monahans got off to a rough start but they always do...it's like a tradition for them. The game against Andrews was alot closer than everyone thought it was going to be. I guess we will have to see what happens. Good Luck to both teams.

Thanks to the new coaching staff at Midland Lee, Midland Christian had an excellent recruiting class this spring and summer. Could be a tough game for the Loboes.

Midland Christian is really tough this year, but i think Monahans can win this one if they shut MC's running back down.

i think it should be a good game. i have heard midland christian has some size but i dont know how fast they are. if monahans's defense can come together i think they will win this one

i think it will be a close game if monahans can shutdown Midland Christians rushing attack then they will win the game cause i think Midland Christian is a one demionsal team

Our scrimmage was pretty good with midland christian....they have some size in the back field.....

When Burnet played Midland Christian the past two years, they seemed to be a power running team, but they weren't afraid to throw the ball. They had a really good(big)TE last year who was a nice weapon. Their defense wasn't that good, but they play hard. I didn't notice them having much speed either year, but if Monahans underestimates them, they could be in for a game.

im positive monahans wont underestimate them. they played them when they were on the jv two years ago and it was a great game. they know what midland christian is capable of.

I think it will be a great ball game, I think if Monahans offense is clicking they will win the ball game, but if they continue to turn the ball over I would go with midland christina, good luck to both teams

i think monahans's defense has to step up in order for them to win and they can do it. they are good they just have given up some good plays

This game should be good(hope so any way). Loboes can win if NO ONE gives up. The team will have to stay focused and give it everything they have and the same could be said for the coaches. Just a side note, a former Lobo is on the coaching staff at MC. I'm sure he wants the Mustangs to win, but he will always bleed Lobo green. Good luck JTH and the Mustangs, but sure hope the Loboes win. GO GREEN!
