Should be a cake walk for Rice. Waltrip is almost always an average 4A team at best. A good 3A team should take them down.

FYI reason why I know about Waltrip is because I lived in Houston from 1996 to 1999, and lived in the Waltrip attendance zone.

I agree tarpon fan, it should be easy for rice to take this game away.

Good luck this week Raiders. Shake off last week's lost and let's get back in the winners bracket. Will Jay be back for this weeks game?

Jett, I doubt that Jay will be back for this game. I haven't heard, but, I would think they would sit him out at least a couple of weeks and let him rest up for the start of district. Go Raiders!!!

Rice better quit making predictions and play football. 42-6 and 28-0 predictions last week ended up in a 22-10 loss.

Briefcase, I don't see any Rice people predicting anything. Am I missing something? Go Raiders!!!

I read where Rice lost their RB to a serious injury. Is that true & was it Huffman? He is a good one. I hope the kid is ok. Interested in replies....

g$$, it wasn't Huffman that was hurt, it was one of our other RBs and he also plays DB. The injury was scary, but ended up being a sprained neck. He will return for the start of district. Prayers were definitely answered that night. Go Raiders!!!

AMEN Briefcase. This team has several large holes that the hometown blinders keep a lot of people from seeing. Yoakum found them late and exploited them.

Go hard, Raiders. Glad to hear that injury looked worse than it was. GO RICE RAIDERS!!!

Specklebelly, true fans support their team through thick and thin. If you can only support a team that has great potential, than I guess, we are better off without you!! Go Raiders!!!

Great news & scary injury. I was surprised at that outcome vs. Yoakum, so I thought you must have lost Huffman. Yoakum must have found their groove after losing to West Columbia in the 1st game. Thanks for the help.
