You guys played your hearts out and that was evident. There were plenty of comments about you guys not being able to compete with Burnet, but you proved you could hang in there. I feel you guys have proven yourselves and should have earned a lot of doubters' respect after your performance on Saturday night. You proven you DO have the heart of champions, forget what the scoreboard said. If it weren't for some of the mistakes in the first half, it definitely would have been a different ballgame. You guys did something that no other team has been able to do so far this season, three interceptions on McGee, most yards gained on Burnet and most points scored against them than any other team this season. You guys have every reason to hold your heads up and be proud. Look forward to next year. We'll break out of this second round slump, you just wait and see! Believe in yourselves and never let go of that. Build on what you have started and there is no end to what you can accomplish, your dream of getting to the State Championship game. Never give, never quit and never, never doubt. You can and will do it!

Congratulations Tigers on a great season!
