they dont run the bone, they run the midline veer. But, if they lost to Madison, then that about says it all.

Crandall 0-3, lost last 2 games to Kennedale and Madison by a combined 5 points. Madison BTW has started season 3-0

They do run the mid-line veer and the 50....lost tough games to Madison and Kennedale, always plays Kennedale tough....got blown out by Quinlan Ford .....but I doubt there is many 4a schools that can just line up and run at Quinlan Ford, however if you line up in a passing formation like trips are four wides an elementary team can run all over them, there defensive coordinator has no clue how to make adjustments.....but back to Crandall.....they dont look as talented as in the past but that has to be one of the weakest districts in 3a so they will be a playoff team....hope that helps some.

Looks like Ranchview is improving..Crandall has struggled...the loss to Madison hurts..but hey Madison beat a pretty good SOC team...so they aren't that bad.....

i mean..i could be wrong but doesnt the midline veer derive from the bone? What Crandall does is actually a combo of the Wing and the bone.

It is based out of the wing-t.....out of which they also run the buck and tunnel among other things

Crandall runs the spread and the 4-3.

They've been struggling this year due to the new offensive and defensive schemes they implemented.

They used to run the Split Back Veer but don't have a QB with the speed they are desiring. As for defense, they used to run the 50, yet are lacking lineman. They're loaded with linebackers this year, so they adjusted to the 4-3.

They'll be fine come district time!

You didn't like that?

From what I've been told by coaching friends of mine in the D/FW area, Crandall refuses to throw the ball. When they do, it's 3rd and 4-ever. He says they are predictable and are easily beat these days.

It hasn't always been like that has it?

LOL, yeah, they've always been that way Titan. That's why it's always been one and done or two and through in the playoffs.
And yes, KA, I guess you could say that the veer is derrived from the bone in the since that they're both option offenses, but that's about where the simmilarities end. The bone even has different personell (3 backs) opposed to the veer (two backs).

crandalls is more of a broken bone....and they use the wing so much in motion I consider that their third back
