That Cordaro Williams has played a fantastic defensive secondary position for the Bay City team. His interceptions and tackles were instrumental in a big Bay City win....It is easy to see why Bay City is at least #2 in 4A football. Don't hang you heads Mustangs, that team would beat 99% of 3A teams by 40 points or more.

Bay City has a pretty good defense but WO-S did do a pretty good job running the ball in the first half. WO-S defense did hang in there pretty good but I don't think that Bay City's offense is hitting on all cylinders either. WO-S played a good team tonight and played them tough. Bay City will make a run deep in the playoffs but I'm not sure they deserve to be ranked #2 in the state (probably #1 after this week)

Yup not a pretty picture. I only got to listen to a bit of it but it wasn't good. We always have to go through a minefield in the pre-district games. I hope the process will harden the Stangs and drive them.

Bay City starting tb a. smith #24 is still not 100%.Bay City defense is probally better than the one the year they won state,but there are still a lot of people than are not happy with the play calling of the hc.Bay City is very predictable on offense if they ever get behind in a game by 2 td they will never win,thats what happen to them in the state championship game against n crowly.It takes them 20 plays to go 70 yds ,would like to see them run the spread offense more & use the speed of qb d griggs then they would be more explosive on offense.Any way this is still a very good ball club if they open up the offense nobody will come close to beating them.

That #24 didn't look like he was "not 100% to me". I was at the game and I think BC is an outstanding team and I think that a lot of their offensive problems had more to do with the WO-S defense. They didn't have many turnovers and didn't have many penalties. The WO-S defense didn't give them anything on the ground and their QB was running for his life in the first half. I thought their offense was very patient and made plays when they had to. This game was a lot closer than the score indicates, we gave up 4 big plays which you can't do against a team like BC. I think that they are VERY deserving of that #1 ranking their about to get and if I do not see them in the Texas bowl this December I will be astonished. They are DEFINITELY the best team in region 3 and they are much better than they were last year when we beat them and they went to the finals then. Of course, anything can happen, but I think they are right on track.

This Bay City defense is the real deal. They held La Marque to 193 yds of total offense,Ozen to 93 yds, WOS to 75 yds of total offense.This defense looks a lot like the La Marque defense of last year.
