What's the deal with Rockdale?

How has Rockdales preseason look? Who did they Play? and Who should you be looking out for with this team?

Rockdale won it's first pre-season game against Lorena 14-7 on Sept. 3. Last night, we recieved our first loss to Robinson 46-26. We play 4A Taylor next Friday night in Taylor.

Taylor is always a very tough opponent for the Rock. Should be a good game. Rockdale's district is going to be one tough road!!!! Lots of really good teams for sure. Cameron 3-0, Caldwell 3-0, Manor is undefeated. Giddings beat Sealy. La Grange will get it going.

Who are you? You know a lot about Rockdale football to be an outsider, so I know you must be from here or lived here at some point.

Just very knowledgeable about 3a football and Rockdale's history along with that of their district. Have lived in that area before. Just a football fan. How has Taylor done this year??? Still running the nasty slot??? Good luck. Smithville seems the same, way down!!!!

Taylor lost 42-7 to Schertz Clemens last night. I think they're 1-2 overall, losing to Burnet in the season openner.

Burnet will make the playoffs in 4a!!! Have watched them the last couple of years in the playoffs, very well coached with tons of talent!!!! How many coaches from Burnet went to the big city??? How is Hillsboro doing???

Yeah. I know all about Taylor, I've been playing them since I was in the 7th grade. They're a run-oriented football team. It should be an interesting game.

Just for some motivation, you should get your local paper to publish how many times Taylor and Rockdale have won the grudge match over the years. I am sure that Taylor is leading the head to head series. Time for the Tigers to reverse the trend!!!

I'm not sure what the head to head record is, but what happened last year or the year before that doesn't matter. It's what we can do this year.
