It's a new season for the Raiders as they have a new coach who is following the old system. They seem to have done a good job of rebuilding an offensive line that was just great last season, but was lost to graduation. The running game is sound with Huffman, but they could miss their quarterback who should miss this game. Look for Coach Crow, who is a great coach, to exploit this... forcing Rice to beat them with the pass.
Right now it looks as though Rice and Navasota have the inside track in District 20-3A as both Bellville and Sealy are struggling a bit. But a long season is still ahead.

I feel this game should be won on the O and D lines...

Rice has the offensive edge with Huffman in the backfield, yet a disadvantage without the starting QB...

Gunna be a defensive battle to the end...

Rice's QB will play Friday night . He was cleared on Tues. He's one tough kid.
