I am offended by many of your avatars and signatures, and I want you all to bow down to my complaints and remove them.

Here is a short list, that will grow longer as I have time to compile it.

Fury 900: I am offended because your signature exposes the genitals of a Lion. Please remove it right away.

Sinton66: My great great grandfather was killed by pirates, and I think you waving the jolly roger as though it is a proud statement is truly classless.

Ranger Mom: I take offense to a cartoon charater that calls it'self a RANGER and then hides behind a mask with it's pistols drawn.

KA ORDER: I am offended by anyone who would dress a dog up like a water skier.

Crazy Journalist: That TAZ scares me every time it jumps up. I have a weak heart, and I will sue you if it pushes me over the edge. I have already informed my attorney to press criminal charges as well in the event of my untimely death.

This list will grow as I have the time.

You know good and well that looked like a certain part of the female anatomy. Why else would you have picked that particular picture? If the right (or wrong) person at my place of work had seen that picture and complained to their manager, I could have conceivably been reprimanded at best and fired at worst. I think everyone should remember that the bbs is run by moderators for the most part. If they find the avatar offensive, then they will act accordingly. Those of you who are complaining basically have no right to complain. This is not your board, and you have no control over the content. If you don't like what you see or read, then complain to a moderator, and if that doesn't get the job done for you, THEN LEAVE!!!

Get off PPHS's back. He will suffer the consequences if the moderators feel that he is being vulgar.

i never saw the avatar that is being questioned but I agree that the members of this board have the right to complain if they find something offensive. Maybe the first thing that needs to be done though is contact the person who's avatar is offensive to you and then if you cannot get it worked out then contact a moderator and let them handle it.


This is a community and if the people cannot work together then the community will not grow stronger.

No, I believe it is the point of the board to discuss, and yes even disagree about 3a football opinions. I don't believe it is the responsibility of anyone but the moderators to determine what avatar is appropriate or not. Now, I do believe that if you find something offensive on the board that you should bring it to the attention of the moderator and allow them to act according to their judgement. I don't think there should be an all out barrage on PPHS or anyone else.

The mouse avatar, was not offensive to me. I will admit it had the "shock" value it was intended to have, but it was easy enough to figure out what it actually was. I have 5 teenagers, nothing shocks me much right now!!:rolleyes:

All I can do is read your posts, PM's and reported post logs and go from there. I cleaned out my PM box yesterday, I have 44 PM's in there now. Not one of those is regarding the avatar in question! I will admit I did receive a few about the "finger" last week.

Maybe I am not cut out for this job!!

IF you don't like anyones signatures or their avatar... just go to the USER Control Panel and turn that option off.

Also, if you do not like the content of any particular member, just click on the ignore feature and you will no longer see what they post.

Folks, I can only speak for myself, but this moderator will uphold the standards of decency that the powers-that-be have developed... BUT, we are not responsible for raising children, building character, or otherwise acting as a parent. That is the job of others....

If you do not like the tone of conversations on here or pictures or signatures, please use the features of the site. Report the post to a moderator. Use the ignore features. Elect not to view pictures.
