This came out on the Valley Morning Star this morning...he was voted Preseason Offensive MVP in the Valley. Its good to see another Kat fan on the downlow.

Same old Bearkats

The Raymondville Bearkats still have a penchant for late heroics.

In their season-opener at Mathis on Friday, the ‘Kats scored 19 fourth-quarter points to down the Pirates 26-12.

As usual, quarterback Tommy Wolfe played a role in the comeback.

The preseason All-Valley MVP rushed for 130 yards on 15 carries and completed 4 of 9 for 74 yards, including a TD pass to tight end Reagan Chappell.

A.J. Hernandez contributed a 36-yard interception return for a TD in the winning run.
