You're right Crabman - Texas IS huge. We went to Casper, WY a little over a year ago. It took us 10 hrs to get to Dumas, then 10 hrs to get to Casper from there. Dang, I thought we'd never get out of Texas. And, it's a long way from here to PI.

A few years back my parents were house parents in a children's home in Anchorage.

Cuero by most is considered to be in SOUTH TEXAS...

However, for us to get to Port Isabel (which is about as South as you can go, okay Brownsville too), we have to drive almost 4 hours, directly SOUTH...

Have any of you Cuero posters noticed (or anyone who has been to Cuero via 87 South from SA) that right when you reach the Yorktown turn-off it says Cuero is 3 miles away... Then when go over the Guadalupe (like two or three miles later) it says 'Cuero 3 Miles'?
