How do yall think Rice will do against Yoakum?

Yoakum has a pretty good team once again. Rice's quarterback was injured last friday night. I don't know how bad it was, but if it was severe it is not going to help the Raiders chances. Yoakum whipped Giddings last friday night. Here it is: Yoakum - 25 Rice - 18. Sorry Raiders!Raiders

i dont make predictions but this should be a great game. both programs have had lots of success the past 4 yrs. yoakum has played in 12 playoff games the past 4 yrs. making it to q.f. in 2002. rice has played that many or more making it to q.f. last yr.
both are very displine teams and very well coached.

I don't much about Yoakum, but I do know what Rice's Huffman can do. Every Bellville player has told me that he was the best runner that they had faced last year. Better than Crew, Smith and Andrus.

Does anyone know the status of the Rice Quarterback??? I think this will be a great matchup Friday night. Rice's defense is always tough and with Huffman anything can happen! GO RAIDERS!!!! G.A.T.A.!!!!!!!

Haven't heard anything on the QB, yet. This should be a tough game. If the Raider D plays the way they should, the Raiders shouldn't have a problem, with or without their starting QB.
All the Offense has to do is hand off to Huffman and he'll do the rest.
Go Raiders!!!

Yoakum is VERY disciplined and well coached.
Have many starters from last years team back.
They dont do a whole lot on O, but what they do- they do well.
Rice, dont know. but they did beat sweeny.
Im gonna go with Yoakum by 14.

I haven't seen Rice this year, but I saw Columbia on Friday. They beat Yoakum 28-10, and I am quite certain that Rice could beat Columbia.

Yoakum by 10 in this one, And Columbia would get on Rice, cause they beat B-port, who is much better than Rice.

I herd that the QB for Rice had a dislocated shoulder. I'm not sure on how long that would take to recover. But they may or may not play him. Might just wait a game to be sure, really don't want to rush anything because district is comeing up soon!

I don't know a lot about either team, but I'm not sure how strong Yoakum really is. Rice is going to run the football, and probably do it succesfully. I will have to go with Rice in this one.

I will have to pick Yoakum by aleast 2 TD's. I don't think that the Raiders have the team that it has had in the past few seasons.

it is too bad the scrub wont get the chance to play rice.

Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to watch Rice play. If their team is near the caliber of last year's, Yoakum will need to play at 110% capacity the whole game. Good luck, Bulldogs - hope to see you in November!

The Raiders will come out ready. Stuart Ray (the quarterback) will be out this game but the 2nd team quarterback has stepped it up and is ready to show how good he his. My prediction this week is 28-0. Yoakum is the best team the raiders have played this year and the raider defense will be ready to show everyone that they are still the best around. G.A.T.A

I really don't believe Yoakum can stop a very fast Rice team. Yoakum has been improving some. Yoakum has almost no speed on defense and still looking for someone to run the ball. Collins looked good last Friday, but as a Soph. running back, he still needs time to develop. I take Rice on this one too. I'll gladly eat CROW if Yoakum wins. HEY! I kinda made a funny??

Apparently Ray is out for 2 weeks. This is not good for Rice because they don't have a solid backup QB. I think that Williams should be the starter because he is more quicker and more physically and mentally mature than Morales. Williams has varsity experience even though he is only a sophmore. I think if Williams gets the starting nod and gets the most playing time, then he and Rice will have a huge game. Rice 42 Yoakum 6

Rice raiders will win this game due to the talent and speed and size that yoakum cannot defend. Rice raiders 2 difficult games this year will be against cross-town rival columbus and navasota.

One thing is for sure. Rice will not win 42-6 nor will they win 28-0. Coach Crow is too good a coach for that. Rice will be fortunate to even pull out the win.

I gotta go with the Raiders. Although i haven't seen youkum play, i do know what kind of talent rice posseses with a back like charles huffman. Even tho Ole' Stuart is out, have no fear ya'll will do fine. Good luck to rice in what's going to be tough district play!
