Unlike the past years, I don't believe this game will be as classic as the past couple years. Hopefully the Rangers, pending any majors bumps or bruises from last night, will continue to grow and prepare for district. I think the Rangers will be ready to battle for the Play-offs if they are healthy come the start of district. I think the Stangs will get this one in return for the loss they suffered last year when the Rangers came to Sweetwater.

The past 3 meetings for these teams have been classics and I think these teams have so much respect for the other that it brings out the best in both teams. I know both teams are different from last years battle at Sweetwaters homecoming but I still see this game as a thriller just because of the respect the teams have for each other

Well if the Rangers play the same defense as they did against Wylie without mistakes its going to be a good game.

This will be a great game. A classic 2 wishbone teams getting after it. Sweetwater has a lot of speed on offense it will be up to Greenwoods defense to contain it. Greenwood is known for playing great defesne and being very good tacklers so this will be a low scoring game a battle of 2 defenses.

I beg to differ, the past 3 meetings between the Rangers and the Mustangs have been anything BUT yawners!!

Mustangs by two touchdowns. Greenwood needs stability at the QB with their running game, and right now they are still in search of it.

I am so looking forward to this game. I think both teams will be "up" for this one. I try never to underestimate the Rangers. It seems they can always find a way to win (learned that one the hard way). They are a class act and I have alot of respect for their ball club. I was truly saddened to hear of their difficulties at QB (even though I believe it will help our chances). I hope they can overcome this setback and make a good playoff run.

ummm......the linebackers were very fast to make there reads and got to the ball incredibly quickly....honestly i think i cut a backer 3 times in the whole game cuz they were gone so fast.....the 3 techniques were honestly not very quick but they were strong.....

Was 71 the better one or the other one Def Tackles? Backers flew, when you ran the midline were you able to get the backside backer or did he flow to fast?

ohh and while im thinkin about it....anybody that plays Lakeview, watch out for tyler Hayes!!!! that kid is uncuttable!!!! i tried like 4 times and i only slowed him down one of those times...and im not the slowest guy around......one guy cut him one time the whole game....that kid is an amazing linebacker....

umm i really dont remember too much about the 3's cuz they played real wide most of the night so i didnt hit them much....the backers read flow very very fast on midline and the best i could do is to make a pile at the line and let our guys run around it...thats not too hard for a guy that runs a 4.3.....haha

Buffalo

Were they in Double 3's or did they give you a 1 on the week side? Did they shoot A gaps a lot. It is a lot easier to block for a 4.3 QB i bet

they ran double 3's most of the night....and like i said i really dont know about how they played as far as technique....i just know they were strong....and yes it is nice havin to block for a QB that runs a 4.3 and a RB that runs a 4.4 and a wide reciever that runs a 4.3 and a sophmore RB that runs like a 4.5...haha
