What does losing to a 1A school do to the morale of 3A football players? I honestly looked for the Yellowjackets to be better this year.:confused: :confused:

You hate to loose to anyone especialy a 1a team. But there may not be that much of a difference in the size of those towns so it may not be as much of a shocker.

I still think it has to get into the heads of the kids at an already troubled program. The thing that strikes me about Mineola is that if you watch them play, they have some athletes. It just looks from the stands like they have no coaching.

Their coach may not want to schedule those lower classification games anymore! Especially 1A~

That game in particular is kinda a rivalry game. The towns are only 20 or so miles apart, and have sorta gone in different directions in the last 20 or so years, but the schools have always played. It wasn't that bad when Big Sandy was 2A, but the end of this rivalry may be in the not too distant future.
