Marlin. Spring Training Site?

I just read where Marlin was the spring training site for the New York Giants during the early 1900's. Anybody in Marlin aware of this?

The New York Giants baseball team conducted their spring training in 1907 in Marlin Springs, Texas. Is this the same Marlin?

The article I read said the Giants built a baseball field and bought some land in Marlin. Is the field still there? Does anyone from Marlin get on this site anymore?

Yea the field is still there. And that is the same place. So in other words they did come to Marlin For Spring Training
