The "computer types" killed me. I don't think I've ever heard of a micro-computer. I thought it was just one of those made up answers to trick you.

55% the computer types whooped me too. Got confused on ROM and RAM also.

I got 60%. Actually, there needs to be a bit of clarification on some of the questions. On #1, the first microcomputer that fit on a desktop, called the Altair, came out in 1975, followed by the Apple in 1977. Also, there is very little, if any, distinction between microcomputers and personal computers. I'm reading from a textbook and it says...Microcomputers, often called personal computers (PCs)...During the past few years their processing speed and their ability to store large amounts of data have increased to the point where some microcomputers now rival older mainframe computers. The computer types got me, but after checking, I'm not so sure what is really the correct answers on some of them! Oh well...better luck next time.

Well the name of the test was "How much do you know about computers?"

My answer is NOTHING!! I scored 30%, and a few that I got right I guessed on!

That is a VERY dubious test. I took the AP test during college a few years back, batted .95% and the questions were harder.

65% and saying lets get the nomenclature standardized... "Computer Crime? LOL"

The answer to #6 is wrong. The largest computer available that is used for number crunching is a supercomputer....

I agree with you. I don't think some of the jargon referenced on the test is common enough to be using it under the guise that it is, in fact, a "standard".
