They call him the howling bear for good reason. His name is Nikolai Karpol. Of course he has had outstanding success as the women's coach and has won two gold medals as a participate on the Men's volleyball team in the 60s I think. He reminded me of Vince Lombardi the famous Green Bay Packer coach. You young posters won't know who I am talking about but Sinton 66 and Old Green and some others will. I watched one of the games they played with China not because I was really interested in the game but he puts on a show. He is a great coach too.
