Giddings Vs. Yoakum

What do people think about Gidding's chances against a pretty good Yoakum team. Last week we got after Sealy and could've put up some more scores but costly penalties set us back. Our Defense played pretty good and Sealy only crossed our 50 maybe three times. Yoakum lost to what i heard a pretty good West Columbia team. What do ya'll think?

yoakum and giddings have been playing each other in non-dist. for many yrs. last 8 yrs. they are 4-4 against each other. they usually have good size and speed. must have a good team to beat sealy.

The only real problem I saw with Yoakum was their offense got eaten up by Columbia's defensive line. They can fix that in practice & should do fine the rest of the season.....

I talked to two guys that went to Yoakum-West Columbia. They said the real problem was passion and hustle. The talent is there but the "want to" wasn't. I believe Crow will take care of that right quick. With Giddings beating Sealy, I would not want to pick this game. Toss up. Scoreless tie or 49-49.

Crabman was correct about the "Want" idea. But another problem is in the running back area?? Yoakum doesn't have one? They will need someone to step up and take command. That is the only way Yoakum will win a game this season. Yoakum Fan here but taking Giddings by A LOT. :(

I saw on texas football ratings that Jerry has Giddings picked by 4. I don't know about that. I think Yoakum is going to come out ready for a win after last week. Go Raiders!!!

you sure were right on the w.c. pick matthew. hope you are right on this one. underware is right about finding a tailback. also those 21 seniors are going to have to step up and lead this team. with giddings,rice c.,bellville, and van vleck left in non-dist. they better get there act together before dist.
