And are still trying to appeal it. It will probably be to no avail. The thing to remember is that they are looking at one event where the judges made a 0.1 error that would have given the South Korean the gold. They failed to point out that there was another event where 0.2 should have been deducted and that might have been why he got the bronze. Heck the one that got fourth should have been the one protesting. So if they look at changing the results then every event in my opinion has to be looked over not just one and for everyone involved in the competition. You have to live with judgement errors. That is what cost Kerrigan the gold once and the USA basketball team the gold medal in 1972 and there are many others - some went the USA's way and other didn't. Paul Hamm is right to keep his gold medal in spite of what some of our sportswriters say. That is like saying they should give the Spurs the NBA championship when the refs late started the 0.4 seconds left in that game with LA. It can't be changed. Sorry South Korea.

Very true Phil. I don't like the fact that some of our very own sportswriters are trying to tell Hamm what to do. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but let's at least support our own athletes.
