Wow, sounds like good new for the Bulldogs, not only will they get their QB back, but the experience gained by the new starter will help him be better just incase they need him later on as well...

I heard he should be back for district which starts week 6. We have 4 more games before our bye week, and then district starts with New Braunfels the preseason district favorite. I hope Parks can make it back in 4 weeks, that would give him the bye week to get prepared for the district opener. We need to be clicking on all cylinders when we hook it up with New Braunfels.

What exactly happened to him? I was listening to the game on the way back from the Giddings-Sealy game, and all I heard was he got hurt, but didn't hear how.

It happened at the conclusion of a good run. He kind of landed on it awkwardly, and it broke the radius in his non-throwing arm.

That's a shame. Our QB comes back next week after being out for 4 weeks with a broken collar bone.

Well that good news indeed... good luck with his recovery time...

Good luck with that recovery time. Mine took 8 wks. to be released for football years ago. Sweeny also lost their junior qb Blake Williams to a broken left collarbone, almost a compund fracture. I like your optimism.
