I was lucky enough to see two of these games. I started friday nite in Navasota. Navasota handed it to Waco Conally 49-14. Navasota seems to have everything clicking. Saturday, I went to the Great Texas Shoot-Out in Round Rock. Caldwell defeated Bellville 19-7. Bellville is very young, but should get better with time. I stayed for the last game, Brenham vs Brownwood, and saw two pretty good teams. Brenham plays with a lot of heart, and came back to defeat a traditional powerhouse Brownwood team. The Brenham fans were in full force and cheered their team to victory.
