What'd you think Gobbla? Defense tackles in groups of 6 or 7. NO missed tackles. O line looked pretty dominant. Three tailbacks looked good except for fumbles. Not really a good test. That will come next week, and the next, and the next.

What a huge win for the Gobblers! Congratulations to everyone in Cuero on what must have been a thrill! I remember (vaguely) Coach Salcher from Cuero and always knew the winning tradition and drive ran deep in the veins there. What a terrific way to begin the season--best of luck next week!

I talk to him just about every game . He is a great person and one of the greatest coaches around.:)

FYI, I talked to the stat guys from this game. West Oso had 152 yards rushing, not 252. 204 total yards.

I just went and checked the Caller web site. On the box score they had West Oso with 420 yards rushing on 82 attempts. So much for accuracy
