And to all those who thought it'd be another blowout, just ask Fairfield! For the first time in as long as I can remember, the Yoemen went TO FAIRFIELD and shut those boys out 31-0! I don't think Fairfield even mustered up 100 yards of total offense the entire game! It was 15-0 at the half then in the 2nd half a FG by Ryan Mikulec followed by a 28 yard INT return sealed the deal. A final attempt to run down the clock w/ the second team offense ended w/ a 40 yard scoring run! Good to see the defense in the shape it is in but the offense needs a bit of polishing to keep things balanced. Having 11 guys on offense and 11 different ones on defense was a big plus I think. Congrats to coach Mullins, his staff and all the young men that pulled this one off to prove the naysayers wrong! A great Yoemen crowd, band and cheerleaders provided the rest! Time to prepare for Bellville. All I can say is that if they hand it to Bellville the way they did Fairfield, this district had better watch out!!

That was the best I have seen our defense play in a LONG time. Now we just need to keep it up

Wow, I was at this game last night. Cameron didn't really look that good, but Fairfield looked absolutly terrible, its gonna be a long long season in Eagleland.

What was killing the eagles is that they could not move the football. Is that a new QB, he fumbled several times, was not sharp at all. I sure hope they get it corrected, I always like to see FF win.

you know Cameron could've come out and beaten Burnet and there would have been an excuse from some of you that "burnet was flat" or "they didn't play to potential." Flat or not, keep in mind Cameron DID NOT play to full potential either as that offense needs work. Regardless of how talented or not a team may be, to post a shut out is not an easy feat. My Sr year we went 9-2 and I think we only recorded 1 or 2 and we had a very solid d at the time. Give the guys some credit for beating a team that was supposed to walk up and down the field on them.
