No major change in medals reported on internet news. The USA women's soccer team plays Brazil for the gold at 1:00 P.M. our time. Tomorrow we should be do the nitty gritty of the final gold medal events especially since after today there are only two more days since Sunday is mainly the ceremonial day. The Team USA beat Spain by 101 to 94 to advance to the semis in men's basketball so they will play either Greece or Argentina. We will see. Spain had a good team but they didn't have the outside shooting that Lithuania had but they had better center play. The Spainish Coach got upset over USA calling time out with a few seconds left but that timeout had been called in advance when the game was still tight. The Spainish Coach and fans were upset but it was probably more out of frustration to have won five straight games in the Olympics and have the No. 1 seed and then get eliminated right away when the elimination rounds happen.
