The Gilmer Buckeyes don't have one, but I've thought for years that we should all chant, "We're nuts! We're nuts! We're all nuts!"

I think its good for a school to have a chant bc everybody gets into it and starts cheering when somebody starts one. Atleast they do in Caldwell!

SWARM SWARM SWARM SWARM!

For several years, our grade school kids have run the length of the field before home games. They then stand at the field-house end of the field, and form two lines, with the cheerleaders, to welcome and cheer the team onto the field.

I know at Sinton games, at the end of the third quarter, we stand up and hold up the number four(I know that there might be other schools that do that but not that many that I know of or at least seen). That is one I can think of at Sinton.

The "big red" cheer is done here before every ballgame after they introduce the cheerleaders. And the guys stand before the band with helmets raised after the game while the band plays the school song. Then they do their rendition of "Big Red" before they go to the locker room.

Ever since I was a little EGGSHELL ( that's what we were called as 7th grade team back then),0ne Fanatic Fan in the stands would shout our chant GOOOOO! MEEEAAAN! GREEEAAAN!. Now the WildGobbler leds the chant, his voice carries across the stadium and then 3600 Gobbler fans follow suit as loud as they can. Totally Awesome.

I have now seen two schools using the Florida ST. chop and indian war cry thing. But neither of the teams were Indian mascots, one was an eagle and the other was the trojans.

LAME!!!!!!!!!
I would rather not have a chant than to steal one taht does not fit.

We used to say, don't know if they do it now, but we used to say " Blood makes the grass grow!" and the crowd would respond " KILL, KILL!"

Kind of sadistic, huh?

Everman kneels and prays before the game starts and, of course, Odessa Permian has the MOJO working.
