How did the Rockdale/Franklin scrimmage go???

1-1 Tie. Rockdale looked really good. The QB that replaced sanders showed great promise, being this is the 1st game type deal he has qb'ed in since his freshmen year. It should have been 1-0 but we put a soph. in at corner and he messed up on his assignment and the reciever scored a td. But it's ok, it's just a scrimmage.

Thanks olddawg. How is Burnet looking this year? Any chance of them being a 4A power house in their first year?

Burnet will do just fine in 4a. They are well coached and they are just reloading.

where is Sanders? Why is he not the QB? Who is?

Sanders has a broke collarbone. Should be back by district or before. DJ Marek was the qb. He did very very well.

Sanders was hit late in our scrimmage vs. Fairfield last week and suffered a fractured collar bone. He should be back in time for Taylor.

I don't know about being a 4a power house BBDE, but I do think Burnet will do pretty good. We just have to take it one game at a time. :)
