How about we 'all' get to know you...

Just throw out some topics...

What type of music do you like?

I like Alternative, classic rock, texas music and old school country...

I like some songs that are rap etc... but not all of it...

Country to me is NOW corny pop-music, but that's just me...

Everyone fill in...

We know your town, your team and your credit card number, now tell us about the people behind all of these usernames... starting with musical interests...

And I'd like to add that I love acoustic songs and acoustic versions to songs that already exist...

I like Classical, Opera (Pavarotti and The Opera Babes rule!), Broadway Show tunes especially Andrew Loyd Webber, anything by Sara Brightman, and of course The Irish Tenors (Ronan is best), Classic country (Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Roy Acuf, the older Willy Nelson stuff, Marty Robbins-Rosa's Cantina!), Blues (Mississippi John Hurt), Doo Wap (Billy Ward and the Dominoes- Sixty Minute Man), Rock 'n Roll (Elvis, Big Bopper, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Chuck Berry) and Classic Hard Rock (Stones, The Beatles, Hendrix, Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Janice Joplin, Credence Clearwater, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, and Blood Sweat and Tears) are some favorites.:D

oh yeah and some jazz- Dave Brubeck and John Coltran for example.

Rap sucks. rap doesnt suck, but 8 yr old rapping, or flowing or what ever its called, about shooting people for drug money and, pardon the term, "bangin' ho's" is never a good thing. infact its a terrible thing. but rap in its intireity isnt bad, im learning to like it more and more everyday. but my roots lie in country, rock, and alternative rock.

Honestly, if someone were to start trying to enjoy rap, like you are, the commercial stuff is not what they need to be listening to. Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and the Dialated Peoples and some Old Lauryn Hill and Tribe Called Quest are great hip hop sources for the old true sound.
