Yeah were still here the explosion actually took place in Anahuac about 10 miles to the east of us. I must have been sleeping hard because I didn't even hear it. I have heard that there were no injuries thank God for that. They only evacuated a 2 mile radius so it didn't effect us.

Yeah it was in liberty
it was on 563, the road that connects liberty to Anahuac, my best friends dad actually works for that pipeline, it's in a small community called moss bluff who's everything flows into liberty, it's kind of like a section of our town.....i live about 5 miles from the explosion, my friends dad who works there i talked to him this evening and he said that they blocked down 563 and he had too park some 2 miles away from it and there was a salt water pond. I have to sub in the morning because our P.E. teacher is also a volunteer firefighter and they are expected to fight this fire well into tommorrow night, the mine it came out of was 1000 feet deep, it's going to burn for a while, but there were only 2 people that evacuated from liberty, and the evacs were voluntary and not maditory. Duke Eneregy is supposed to lose some 30 million on this burn...ouch....

It's still dark and I can see the orange from the flames over the trees...you could all night.
