I saw all those trades at 3:29 in the morning. I think that was the time when the free agents were first processed. Was anyone giving any notice of the availability of the FAs?

I wasn't saying, but there sure was alot of action at the infamous 3:29 AM.

But I noticed with the fantasy BB, the actual time it was processed sometimes lagged behind the action. That is kinda funny, though. I agree.:thinking:

i didnt realize the draft had taken place until a day later...and my #1 pre-ranked player would have been available even if i had gone last so so its all good...

But how did you end up with the number two pick, jason? You must have been placed there. Could being the commish's brother have any impact?:eek:

The autodraft deal is screwed up too. I had a player on my prerank that should have been placed on my team in the second round, and he went to another team behind me in the draft. I lost a top offensive player because of it.

I think all this would have been avoided with a random order. But having no waiting time for waivers is crazy. What's the point of having a waiver priority for participants?

hey 66, one thing I can tell you about the autodraft from yahoo from experience is that the second round is reversed from the first...whoever gets the top overall pick picks last in the second round...so that player that you wanted that appeared to go to a manager later actually went a few picks before you...I'm not in your league because I don't like having all those managers and stuff, so I can't say for sure that's what happened there, but that usually is the culprit in the draft.

Yes it does. However, what the perps need to realize is that TWO can play that game. There are two or three teams poised to spoil their fun. If those get together, all of somebody's planning and finagling will go down the drain.

I would suggest we kill this league and start over on a level playing field. Failing that, there's gonna be all kinds of cheating going on.

If that's the way it works, that's nuts! One team (the last team in round 1)would get two picks in a row that way.

I think thats more fair than having higher picks for the first few lucky ones. I like that way much better sinton66.

I think a live active draft would be much more fair. That's almost impossible to do when you have 18 teams in the league.

Okay, I agree that in an autodraft, that is more fair, but it points out the need to do a live draft in my opinion.

My bottom line folks, since 3A Downlow is loaning it's name to this, above all else, it should have been made fair to all teams. The perception of impropriety is there, and will lead to cheating.

And just as an added footnote, those team owners that haven't yet taken a CLOSE look at your defenses should do so as soon as possible. Pickings are getting quite slim.

I don't have a problem continuing with the league on one condition. There can be no more changes to the league settings without the permission of all active owner/managers. All of you should be able to agree on that.

I think the draft order was fair, it was first come first pick.........and about the trade. It ended up going dead because cameron cowboys ddint accept it within 10 days.

I think most disagree, Kyle. It would have been more fair had you selected "Random" in the settings. The draft order would have been randomly selected by the site that way. It sounds as if everybody is past that part anyway.

I think that who picks first has somewhat of an advantage. If I was commish, I would pick a random order to avoid any conversations on ethics(then luck IS luck and not made). Kinda like the one we are having now...

Personally this site is big enough to handle more than one fantasy football game.
