I didn't get to see the Vernon/Ballinger scrimmage. Apparently Vernon handled us pretty well. Give me your thoughts on the Bearcats.

QB looked very good. The o-line had problems with pass blocking though. The QB was sacked a couple of times. The line also looked lighter than in the past years. I think with some game experiece they will do fine. The defense looked ahead of the offense. They flew to the ball and made some good hits.

The fullback looked very good. Hard down hill runner. not as fast as posey was but looked almost as big.

They should have a decent team this year.

Thanks. I'll get to take a look Thursday nite at their next scrimmage. We had our "Pigskin Preview" last nite. This is Ballinger's name for meeting the players. We are definitely small, and young ( 5 Srs and a lot of Sophs.) It should be interesting! I can't wait. Good luck to your Lions.
