for K. B. (since he's a freshman I won't post his name)... he took a hard hit to the spleen and is in the hospital for the next five days... from what I was told - it's a pretty serious injury... he may have to take medication for the rest of his life...

Prayers for that young man from this Mom, and for all the other sons who are out at practice every day now. Be careful. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to that freshman player--and hey, you've got more years ahead, don't rush back!

Yesterday one of our teammates suffered a injury of his own. He was hit from behind when he was already falling down. Paramedics had to take him off the field because he couldnt feel his extremites (sp?). Later that day at the hospital he started to get feeling back in his body. Word in the locker room is that he might just have a bruised spinal cord. Not sure on his condition.

Prayers go out the K.B. and wishing him a quick recovery.

Will keep him in my prayers. Sometimes God answers in ways we don't understand at the time.

The miracle of prayers... K.B. was in church this Sunday looking good... a little slow when he walked but he was there and it was good to see him... thank you so much for your prayers...

Glad to hear that he is doing alright. It just goes to show how easily football can be taken away from you and you can be scarred for the rest of your life. Glad to hear that he came out alright, though.
