I think your best bet is to visit a "virtual" site.

There you can scan your pic in and try different hairstyles and colors.

I did a before and after as an example of what all you can do.

Unfortunately, the site I went to didn't have men's hairstyles, so I had to go with the shorter female haircuts.

I wasn't too worried, the shirt he was wearing at the time said "I love boys", so maybe the hairstyle is "JUST RIGHT"!!
