Did you check out the practice yesterday, man?

I drove by a little after ten, looked like we have good numbers out there...

I heard from a source that the pants are going to just be plain green, no stripes...

I checked it out. The guys looked real good for just the first week.

The freshman are awesome. A lot of speed.

I hope the pants are not solid green. The two stripes are what makes the uniforms stand out and is the traditional color scheme.

 :weeping:

Yah, but the jerseys and helmets sound accurate...

OG, after you left yesterday, it was almost all passing. It went like clockwork. Schumacher and Noack looked awesome at QB. Ross and Taylor caught everything thrown their way. Spoke with Reeve after the scrimmage. He was grinning from ear to ear. He said that with the exception of the first drive where everyone was nervous, he was very pleased.
Everyone certainly knows now why Roy Sierra is appearing on some preseason all-state teams.

Good test this Saturday against Lockhart. I don't know much about them but any 4A competition is good.

Hope to see you there.

Sorry I had to leave so soon. I had business to take care of.

Our girls volleyball team is scheduled to play Cuero this year on the same day as the football game but I am sure it will be on earlier to finish before the football game. Maybe you can make that game. I probably won't be able to get to Cuero till about kickoff time. We got a little time but maybe we can meet somewhere over there at halftime. I will probably have to head back home right after the game.

OK Phil. I'll hook up with you and the others at the game.
