Cuero has alot of returners on both sides do they not. They basically handled their non district schedule very easily last year. I saw there freshman(now juniors)play two years ago. They looked very athletic to say the least!!!!

We have eight returning on offense (well, more like 9) and 4 on defense... One not included on defense did start but was injured three or so games into the season... A kid that would have started at LB last year never suited up, was injured all year, but is back this year...

Defense was our only question going into two-a-days, but it's no longer a question, they should be just as good, if not better, this year...

The Manor program is gaining respect after last year's run deep in the playoffs. It is good to see the Mustangs scheduling some tough teams in the preseason. In years past they beat up on some weak 4a programs in Austin which didn't prepare them for the tough 3a schedule in district very well IMO. Who does Manor have in its three preseason games this year? La Grange has Cuero, Sealy and Gonzales-very tough schedule for the Leps.
