They got a verbal commitment from Duncanville's 6ft 4inch center Mariana Mergerson who led her team to the 5A State Championship Game. Earlier this summer another 6ft 4in center Connally's Ashley Lindsey committed. Could it be twin towers soon? Way to go Mariana and Ashley!!

UT is in contention also for guard Erika Arriaran of Norco, CA who is considered the top prospect in the country. She has indicated she will choose either Texas or Oklahoma! Come to Texas Arriana! Austin is more fun and more to do there than Norman Oklahoma!

Erika committed around late September (like 9/26). And we also got Crystal Boyd (from Arkansas) around that same time as well.

Now we are hoping the Paris twins from Cali come to UT.

I think it's down to UT, UCONN, and UCLA. They should have a decision made fairly soon, probably next week.
