get grime off the bottom of a boat? We left our boat in the water for 2 weeks straight and now it is a brownishcolor where it was sitting in the water. Anyone know any tips on getting it off?

Elbow grease always works...

Honestly, though, you can try a buncha things...

Try coca cola, though, according to 'The Myth Busters', it can do some powerful stuff...

Actually, they tried that one on 'Myth Busters' and it didn't work...

You can learn a lot on that show...

well you can keep it from getting on there by not leaving it in the dirty lake for a week

They have some stuff at wall mart called oxidation remover. It works pretty well. It is in the boat supply area. Also, they have some more powerful stuff at boat dealerships but get ready to spend about 10-15 bucks.

I read one of those "Hints From Heloise" kind of books one time. For any kind of abrasive cleaning they always recommended Cream of Tartar. I have tried it. It is like really mild Comet.

wonder if the scrubbing bubbles could take care of it for you...
