Say you have a kid starting HS this fall who has enough athletic talent that they will probably get a scholarship. The kid wants to take college courses the Summer after each of the HS years as well as the early release for continuing education offered to HS Seniors. The kid could possibly be a chronological Freshman at the start of college but actually a Sophmore entering the Spring semester "credit-wise". How would the colleges offering scholarships deal with that?

I have a son that will be a senior this year, he is an honor student and had enough credits to graduation his junior year, but choose to stay and play football his senior year. Said he worked to hard all these years to get there and wasn't going to miss out. He has several schlorship offers for football and has verbaled to u of h. He will go in his freshman year and be red shirted. He won't be concerted a freshman until his sophmore year. He will get a five year education this way. For the colleges courses he has taken he can get credit for those course by testing out of them. I think no matter what this kid will still be concerted a freshman.
