2 a Days

2 a days start are close for ranchview. ive been feeling the urge to hit someone growing lately. anyone else been feelin the same. i had a dream about it last night. cant wait.

I thought I was the only one who thought that 2 a days had a distinctive smell....

ive noticed the smell, it smelled like puke at certain parts of the feild haha, but i love two a days

That first couple of days can take its tole on ya...

Usually the first couple of days we were just in helmets and shorts and a shirt (no shoes..... ha, jk)... That helmet killed me every time...

we usually do the same, last year i didnt get to participate in 2adays cuz i hurt my knee on the first day in agilities.

I hope everybody that is new to 2-a-days has a better start than I did 30 plus years ago (man was it that long). I lived in the country and before the first morning, I had four eggs, bacon, toast and three big glasses of fresh (we milked our own cow) milk.

We only had one car and my dad had worked it out with the head coach that one of the coaches would drive me home after practice. That first morning it was the head coach/athletic director. When we got about halfway around the courthouse square in Weatherford, I threw up in his car. Between the breakfast and the twenty gallons of water I drank after practice, it was a mess.

Needless to say, the head coach never drove me home again after that.

2 a days are oh so bittersweet. I can't wait to get back into football season, but I am dreading the first week. It's definitley not what I would call "fun" lol. When it's all said and done though, they aren't too bad. I guess I'm just counting down the days until our first practice--at 12:01 Monday morning.

i miss two-a-days, yes they do have a distinctive smell, the dragon flies come out, hitting, tackling, running sprints, punking after the sprints, hey can i come play for someones school? ill say im 17. and just moved in from....norway or something. i just wanna play again. any takers?:D

There is nothing like the smell of soured sweat in the morning to prepare all those that stayed under the AC all summer...for all the pukin and dry-heavin they are about to experience. LINE EM BOYS!!!!

In West Columbia we have 1 long practice for the first 3 days(6:00-7:00). Then we have 1 practice in the afternoon once we put on pads.

I went to the field house this morning to try on our new helmets, the whole team got those Revolution Helmets. There a whole lot lighter than normal helmets and have better ventalation (sp?). Does any other school wear these?

i love 2 a days..mostly because its is the start of football season..but another reason i love 2 a days is its power to bring people together..it is one of the most bonding experience for our team...and on here talkin about it make men of ages 30 years apart meet on a common ground...2 a days symbolizes the start of something great...plus you get to knock some heads...

Actually you're right, I believe it is around 8 hours a week... But that may only be during the school year, I'm not too sure...

We need an expert here...... well, besides myself...
