How many top 25 teams have you beat, and who were they? What is your record? Have you been defeated, if so by who? If you play a team in week one and they were rated in the top 25 that counts.

I think Sealy and Yoakum were top 25'ers when we beat 'em...

We were beaten by Rice Consolidated week 1...

We are now 6-1 (2-0)

forney beat 4A Aledo...i believe they were ranked top 25 at the time...

#2 Bellville Brahmas, beat Rice and Navasota, Rice was in the top 10, and Navasota was in the top 15 the week of the game, depending on the poll. Bellville also gave each team there 1st loss. Bellville's record is 7-0.

i dont think any of them are ranked but Aledo lost to a team that lost to a team that lost to a team that lost to a team that lost to a team that lost to a team that was undefeated so they must be pretty good...

Sweetwater defeated Graham (ranked #15 this week). Our record is 4-2. We lost to Greenwood (ranked #5, week 3) and Andrews (ranked #12, week 4, 4A). All rankings quoted here are from Collier-Sharp. Go Mustangs!

Kennedale defeated 1 top 25 team (Everman-ranked #6 in the AP Poll at the time). Kennedale is undefeated (7-0, 4-0)

Kennedale's win over Everman was not luck. Luck would be a trick play in the final minutes to win by a small margin. That would be "lucky".

Kennedale had 18 first downs, to Everman's 9. Kennedale amassed 347 yards, to Everman's 260. Kennedale controlled the clock for 30:37. The final score was Kennedale 30-Everman 16.

No luck when Kennedale beat Everman..they were flat out a better team that night..

Well, Marlin is the only team to lose to the #1 team in 3A and the # 1 team in 4A, in a two week span, so that's gotta count for something :D

WE beat Everman fair and square...no luck about it.

What about the #1 team, can anyone fill us in on Burnet? Have they played anyone in the top 25? Have they played anyone with a winning record, and who? Someone fill us in on the #1 team in 3A.

Tell me who Burnet COULD play without having to travel an exausting amount of distance.....wont be bellville......wont be cuero.....wont be forney......WHO? We have played a couple of fair 4AAAA teams, who, at the time, we predicted to give us a challenge.....we merely started their loosing streaks.....:-)I am sure that if we were closer to a top 10 team, then we would be playing them but are we? Anyone can present a challenge, wether or not they are ranked....I mean, for example, look at A&M and OU....who one that one? And, if anyone has played some GOOD teams it would be Marlin...I do believe that they have the toughet pre-district schedule.....but, they are in a diff. area than us. Trust me, if the coaches had the oppurtunity, they would play em but that opp. isn't there! GO DAWGS!
