Sinton66 and I discussed this at the meet and greet.

We (or I ) would like to get a copy of your favorite recipe.

If we have a good turnout, I will put them all into a word document that I can send to you. If we only get a few, then I will at least have some new recipes to try.

Girls, drag out that favorite old stained up recipe card. Guys, get the recipe for the favorite thing your wife makes. Kids, get me your favorite recipe your mom (or dad) makes.

If you can just PM me a recipe or 2 (or 3, whatever), I will do the rest of the work!

Cereal

1. First get a bowl.
2. Then you get a spoon.
3. Next get the cereal box and pour your cereal in the bowl.
4. Pour your milk in the bowl.
5. Take your spoon and put it in your cereal
6. Last eat it.

 Thanks 2K3, I will have to remember that one for sure!!

I have to admit to being confused about your steps!

If you put the cereal in the bowl in step 3 and the milk in the bowl in step 4, then what does step 5 do? "Put it in the bowl".

I think if you completely elimated that step, you could save some preparation time!!

:D

I thought that was "secret family recipe" Jason!

My dad and step-mom brought some sausage over that we cooked night before last. My husband made the comment that it tasted like the one you brought.

One of our family's favorites comes from my dad's cousin renee...

Ingredients
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c peanut butter
about 6 oz chocolate chips
half box of Crispix
about 1 1/2 c powdered sugar

In a saucepan stir together butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips over medium heat until smooth. Pour cereal into large or jumbo plastic bag and then pour mixture in. close and shake bag until cereal is well coated. Pour in powdered sugar and shake again. Place in fridge for about 45 min and enjoy!

Crawfish Casserole

Simple, but GOOD!

1 stick of margarine (I think we use half)
1 small onion chopped
1 small bell pepper chopped
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can Cream of Celery soup
1 can Cheddar Cheese soup
1 pound of cleaned/cooked crawfish tails
3 cups salted cooked rice

Saute the veggies in the butter.
Add soups and mix well.
Remove from fire.
Add crawfish and rice.
Season to taste. (I like cayenne pepper here)
Place in a 13x9 pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden on top.

66, I would like it also. Won't be able to make it until I return, but it will be one of the first things done (well within the first week).

If you like Chocolate and peanut butter then you will surely like this easy one.

1 pk Almond bark - white
12 oz creamy peanut butter
1 pkg peanut butter chips
1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips

Melt almond bark in microwave (be sure to stir about every 2 minute - should take about 4 minutes on high). In seperate bowl combine PB and PB chips and melt. Pour both mixtures together and stir until blended. Pour into cake pan and set aside. Melt choc chips (stirring frequently) and then dollop on almond bark/pb mixture, then swirl with knife to make "Tiger Stripes". Put in frig until hard. Break in pieces and enjoy. Wife, kids, family, school, thinks this is wonderful. I only make it around the holidays......
