i dont think it should be. it was a great game in elementary, but i just dont see how it would be beneficial to any schools, for all practical purposes. also just because something looks great on film doesnt mean it should be sanctioned as a high school sport, IMO.

I can remember our coaches making us play a game called Bombardment. I hated getting blind sided by one of those red balls. Tough game but alot of fun.

We had dodge ball and a game like dodge ball that we called rescue...you had to stand in the free throw box deal and the only way you could get out is if you caught a ball your team mates threw to you. Made it pretty tough!

Saw in the local paper that the Burnet Rec Center is trying to start up a Dodgeball league. Should be interesting to see if it gets off the ground.
