Which district will be the toughest this year 20-3a or 27-3a? Better yet what are your picks?

Dist. 27 is going to be down to the wire. Cuero, Yoakum, Hallettsville, Gonzales are all top notch going into the first round. Any of those teams can win district. Luling and Goliad, I think, are going to be the spoilers.

I'd vote for 23, 27 and 30 (these are the ones I REALLY know about)

In 23 you're going to have the great race between Bellville and Navasota for 1st and Sealy trying to kick their butts as well...

In 27 it's just going to be a slugfest... The district's pre-district record total is 21-9... Goliad says they're not a doormat anymore, and I believe 'em, they will beat someone this year, and hopefully it's not us this Friday... Yoakum is still the front runner in my mind unless they can be knocked off (And hopefully that's next week ha)... I wasn't too impressed with Gonzales before they lost their QB but they were still a playoff team outta this district, they always fight tough, but without their QB? They're playing Yoakum this Friday night... Luling and Halletsville? I don't believe H'ville has the D to stop Luling's hoss, but I don't think Luling has the D to stop H'Ville's and it'll be a barn-burner... District 30's always a toss-up, so you never know who's comin' out of the Corpus area...

MY prediction on the 27-3A team records come Saturday morning...

Yoakum 5-1 (1-0)
Cuero 5-1 (1-0)
Hallettsville 5-1 (1-0)
Gonzales 3-3 (0-1)
Luling 3-3 (0-1)
Goliad 3-3 (0-1)

Good luck to all!

Which district will be the toughest this year 20-3a or 27-3a? Better yet what are your picks?I think I will say 20-3A is the toughest of the two districts this year.

With no common opponents are head up competion its hard to tell.
Newtons always tough and Jasper has the talent. Kirbyville is also playing good football.

20-3a order of finish
Newton
Jasper
Kirbyville
Diboll

27-3A
Cuero
Yoakum
Hallettsville
Gonzales
Luling
Goliad

23 3A is the toughest. Some of the Bellville players are getting way too cocky, this could lead to defeat. Hopefully they will get their heads screwed around straight.

Lots of good teams in the same districts this year. Of course, I'm most interested in 23 3A. It will be a slugfest, no doubt. Punt, I hope you are wrong, I hope my Brahmas aren't getting cocky, but if they are, a loss isn't the worst thing that can happen, sometimes those prove to be good for a team. Good luck to everyone, Go Bulls!

Brahma Mom there is certainly lots of talent on this team so I hope the guys pulling some off the field stunts will get straight. I would like to see the Div 1 and Div 2 champs both come from D23. Good luck.

8-3a because they have 2 teams that do pretty well in the playoffs (Kennedale and Evermen) both have good showings in the playoffs. I mean not many districts are "lucky" and get to try to beat that state champs and tease them about it.

What I want to know is what district do you think will have the best TEAM FOR TEAM competitions and be a battle week after week with all teams involved? My thoughts go with 20-3a and 27-3a what are yours?

Don't know which is toughest between those two, but toughest in state is 12-AAA. Every week a war, and at least two pretty good football teams will be sitting home during playoffs.

27 3A IS A TOUGH DISTRICT WITH NO CLEAR CUT FAVORITE BUT YOAKUM LOOKS LIKE IT WILL TAKE THE TITLE...CUERO IS TRYING TO RETURN TO THEIR OLD WAYS AND HALLETTSVILLE IS LOOKING TO MAKE SOME NOISE...GONZALES LACKS THE SIZE AND LULING IS THE SLEEPER...TOUGH DISTRICT AND WINNER SHOULD HAVE A RUN IN THE PLAYOFFS
