He was the conductor and music supervisor on such hit movies as The Pink Panther, Charade, and the Days of Wine and Roses. He also conducted the theme song for the tv series Peter Gunn which was also a big hit on the pop charts. Oh and even though he was not credited he also worked on the music for Dawn at Socorro. The music in that movie was magnificient.
