Just wanted to Share with yall about this Manor Mustang Basketball team. Last year this team won only 9 games all year and went 0-14 in district. Now going into the second round of district they are a perfect 5-0 and sole leaders. Congratulations Mustangs

That's quite a turn around! Where does the credit lie?

It has to do alot with the Coach. Coach Miller down in Manor has done an awesome job molding his talent. He has two sophomores two juniors and 1 senior starting and a young bench. Look for this team to make some noise not only this year but in the next couple. Their leading scorer Anthony Swain is also a great reciever on the football field.

The district is pretty down this year compared to last year but there is still good competition from smithville and hutto. Hutto might not be as good though since they lost their stud Ross Ryden. But as for the WR He was the new comer of the year as a freshman in last years 18aaa for bball, that district included top ten ranked hearne, now 4a taylor, and a very good cameron and elgin team. This year he was new comer of the year in football, he is about 6'2" with a 34inch vertical and a 4.8 forty (who needs speed when you can out jump everybody). His first year on varsity football he had something like 30 catches for over 600 yards and 5 tds. He did this against some good competition from LaGrange Elgin and Giddings in district. He will be one to watch on both the bball court and grass in the next coming years.
