Predicted Order of Finish:

1. China Spring
2. Waco Connally
3. Gatesville
4. Waco LaVega
5. Lorena
6. Robinson

1. China Spring Cougars Starters Returning 3/8 Last Year: 10-3
Key Players: OL/DL Michael Canonico, QB Jacob Limmer, WR/DN Andrew Mitchell
Outlook: CSHS advanced all the way to the regional semi-finals before being ousted by Bellville....this year's edition will have to be un-China Springs like in that they may do it with an experienced D and not an explosive offense...

2. Waco Connally Cadets Starters Returning 3/5 Last Year: 10-2
Key Players: WR/LB Torrian Williams, RB Pat Williams, WR James Newton
Outlook: The Cadets return some GREAT skill people from last year's offense that averaged over 38 points per games last year......however finding a QB and some O-Line help is a concern....Last year's run into the postseason was Connally's first since 1998....Torian Williams combined for 1004 yards and 19 TD's last year rushing and recieving..

3. Gatesville Hornets Starters Returning 6/5 Last Year: 7-3
Key Players: OL Ryan Hunter, WR/DB Phillip Taylor, RB AJ Perkins
Outlook: Is Perkins the next back in line of excellent TB's from Gatesville?? If he isn't the Hornets could struggle some on offense..QB is also a large question mark...last year Gatesville missed the postseason for the first time since 1998....

4. Waco LaVega Pirates Starters Returning 4/4 Last Year: 7-4
Key Players: DB David Shepherd, QB Vincent Williams, LB Tauran Bell
Outlook: LV made the playoffs last season but fell to Marlin in bi-district.....the Pirates graduated their entire backfield so that will be a concern going into 2004...Shepherd and Bell lead the D which may have to carry LV early on as Jr QB Williams learns the ropes..

5. Lorena Leopards Starters Returning 4/7 Last Year: 6-4
Key Players: RB Ben Booker, LB Levi Robinson, DE Ty Gurganus
Outlook: Lorena started out strong at 6-1 but faded late to miss the postseason.....Robinson leads a D that should be a strong suit for LHS......Booker and RB/LB Brandon Graves will carry the offense...

6. Robinson Rockets Starters Returning 8/4 Last Year: 1-9
Key Players: OL Jordan Hooten, RB JD Pennington, WR Brad Carrier
Outlook: Robinson has struggled the past few years....after making the state semi-finals in 1999, they made it Round 2 in 2000 and after that have struggled going 9-20 from 2001, 2002 and 2003...Hooten leads a strong offensive line, that should help an offense that averaged only 14 points per game in 2003...

I intercepted that QB from La Vega in 7on7 :D. The WR, Brad Carrier is pretty good. Made some good catches in 7on7.

Limmer was their backup QB last year For China Springs, right? They lost 2 speedsters at wide receiver to graduation I believe... where their passing game seemed to be their main offensive punch last year.
Does anyone know who's JV was district champ last year?
