All living members were present at the HR Derby tonight... talk about a historic moment. I got chills as they were introduced..

Didn't go in person but watched it on tv.That was something to see.
Back in the mid 1960s I was in Atlanta with my dad and we went to most of the Braves games.Atlanta wasn't to good back then. The only thing they had going for them was the hammer( Hank A ).We used to set at the coffee shop and try and figure out when Hank would break the Babes H/R record.I think he was at around the mid 500 then.We came to the conclusion he could do it in the 70s but he wouldn't have a whole lot left.I wish more people would have gave him more support and respect that he deserved at the time.

I watched Hank's number 715 live on television in Irving Texas. We went to my Grandfathers house, because he had a COLOR television with rabbit ears.:D
It was a year later in 1975 before we shelled out the cash for our First Color television. I remember everyone calling us cheap because they had been out for a few years, but our black and white still worked fine. Besides, until around 1975 half the shows were not in color anyway. LOL
