isn't la grange returning 6-6?

Marlin, yall will be good but yall lost A LOT of talent in that senior class. It seems that all yall will have now is Devon Hughes, Tank Smith, and Jeramy Sanders.

LOL, five foot six two eighteen freshman that runs a 4.8

Has anyone ever seen a five foot six inch teenager that weighed two eighteen, that could run that fast?

I will believe any two out of three specs about this kid, but not all three.

If you want to say he's 5'6 and weighs 150 and runs a 4.8 I might believe you.

Or if you want to say he's 6'3 218lbs and runs a 4.8 I might believe you.

Or if you want to say he's 5'6 218lbs and runs a 6 second forty I might believe you.

But otherwise, I will have to call for the BS meter.

5 feet 6 inches and 218 pounds. Let's see, if one inch equals about 6-8 pounds, and lets say he was an even 6 feet, that would put his corresponding weight around 260 pounds.

Looks like you have a shorter version of Jerome Bettis!

From the sound of it, his 40 time doesn't matter. After 40 yards, he'd probably need a respirator. Have you timed him in the seven?

That's just too bad you don't have a fierce team to go with your logo.

5'6", 218 lbs, runs a 4.8, I have seen it. The guy had thighs like hams.

pak let me just say this.

I have probably been to as many HS combines as some folks have HS games.

A 5'6" 218lb 14 year old kid is FAT. If he were 24 I might understand. Now trust me on this. I have seen some outstanding looking 14 year olds. I have seen 14 year old kids that were 6'3" and over 200lbs. I have seen 14 year old kids that could run a 4.8 (although they are hard to find if you are using a real clock). I have seen 14 yr old kids that could benchpress 250 and squat 400lbs (although there are just a few of them) and I have seen 14 year old kids that could flat out pancake someone when you lined up against them. But in the thousands of kids that I have seen, I have NEVER seen a 14 year old 5'6" 218lb kid that could run a sub 5 second 40.

I would go so far as to bet a sick amount of money, that the kid does not exist. Remember this. When you read about a kid on a bulletin board, the general rule is you can subtract an inch from his height, ten pounds from his weight, and at least 2 tenths of a second from his TRUE forty time. I promise you that while this kid may be very special indeed, the numbers just don't add up if you want to call them genuine. There are probably not 10 guys on the planet with that height weight combination that can run a 4.8 and all of them are over 20. Bet on it.
