Predicted Order of Finish:

1. Lindale
2. Van
3. Canton
4. Tyler Chapel Hill
5. Brownsboro
6. Bullard

1. Lindale Eagles Starters Returning 9/6 Last Year: 7-4
Key Players: DB Clay Tapia, RB/LB DeMarcus Brown, RB Dwight King
Outlook: The Eagles return the house from last year's squad that was upset in bi-district by Texarkana L-E 26-3.....Tapia and Brown lead the D which has 6 back....but there are a couple of holes to fill mainly along the line....the offense should be one of the better ones in the Region as Brown and King combined for 1400 yards and 21 TD's last year.....Brett Holland takes over at QB....

2. Van Vandals Starters Returning 6/6 Last Year: 10-2
Key Players: WR/DB Logan McWilliams, OL/DL Jeremy Herndon, TE/LB Caleb Milarski
Outlook: The Vandals made the playoffs 2 seasons in a row......including last year's trip which ended in the area round with a loss to Jefferson....McWilliams has great size and speed and could develop into a deep threat...Milarski is all-district on both side of the ball...

3. Canton Eagles Starters Returning 9/6 Last Year: 8-4
Key Players: QB GJ Kinne, WR Barlow Reid, WR Johnathan Ellis
Outlook: The Eagles advanced to the area round of the playoffs for the first time since 1964.....CHS was eliminated by Tatum last year.....surpisingly the Eagles made their run with a freshman QB in Kinne...Kinne threw for 1650 yards and 14 TD's and also ran for 7 TD's...Kinne earned East Texas newcomer of the year honors in 2003....look for even bigger numbers this year as Reid and Ellis are go to targets...however for Canton to make a big splash a running game needs to be found....

4. Tyler Chapel Hill Bulldogs Starters Returning 2/5 Last Year: 5-5
Key Players: RB Rashad Lee, QB Marcus Mosely, RB Marshall Ekwuruke
Outlook: Many thought CH would easily get back to playoff form with the drop to 3A in 2002...however the past 2 years Chapel Hill is 6-14.......QB is up in the air Mosely is 6'4 and has the big arm but he'll face a tough challenge from Paul Suell who is only 5'9....but runs a 4.5......Lee and Ekwuruke combined for 1570 yards last year....

5. Brownsboro Bears Starters Returning 8/6 Last Year: 4-6
Key Players: FB Jeremy Turner, TB Jason Johnson, OL Lonnie Edwards
Outlook: Brownsboro went young last year and the folks in Eastern Henderson County feel this years version can get back to playoffs....BHS has 2 excellent backs and with an excellent O-Line they'll roll up some yards on the ground..Defense is still a question...

6. Bullard Panthers Starters Returning 7/7 Last Year: 5-5
Key Players: WR Dustin Beavers, DB Zach Redford, RB Chris Thorn
Outlook: Bullard hasn't made the postseason since 1993...Beavers set school records for recieving yards and recpetions last year and has a good QB to throw him the ball...however in a tough district Bullard will be hard pressed to get to the postseason....
